Me along with Shashi started to see Agra and we set foot in agra at 3 am on 26th of february,2016.i went on that morning to see the real beauty of tajmahal, which can be only seen at sunrise.so i left gwalior at 1 o'clock ,after spending two hours hours in the train and walking from Agra Cantt railway station straight to Tajmahal which is approx.6 k.ms,if you take the correct left.pretty good distance for a morning walk.the whole area was cantonment area(i.e, why it's named agra cantt). In this military idea we can easily identify by the houses that its area of policemen, because those houses are such dignified and well built. The roads i've walked were very clean and even i found a path for cycle for some distance, such as we see in hi-tech city.It took us more than two hours to walk this 6 k.ms.

a pic that reminds the distance to walk |
let me ask you a question.where will you plan of visiting a place? At home isn't it?But i made it at tajmahal. To my shock ,tajmahal was closed,yeah...it was Friday.what the hell?after happening to walk sleepless.i couldn't make my mind to go away from there without seeing tajmahal.Even in my previous visit i saw those boards hoarding that Friday is a holiday for Tajmahal,so to step forward i kept saying myself "it's a chance to see Agra else than only sticking on to Tajmahal which i've already seen. This even led us to walk even more than 5 k.ms to go to Agra fort.while getting to agra fort we happen to walk through the whole Shahjahan park.which was quite big.i really wanted to see tajmahal after all coming a distance of 1300 km.s maybe i dnt wnat to return with empty eye.i remember searching for a place, the back of taj mahal, some garden,so i wanted to visit there atleast to have a view of tajmahal.
So while walking for
agra fort we asked almost everyone on the way, for the distance still we have and to my shock everyone was having the same answer "abhi adha kilometer" i.e,more half-a-kilometer but none was right it was almost two km.s from that place.it was too dark and scary with all those trees on our side and no one else. Then i got to my mind these words of Helen Keller
life is either a daring adventure or nothing
-helen keller
and then i moved on till i see the red fort.Such a beautiful fort.i've seen many forts before but none was of such beautiful.Maybe there were on wars waged on agra fort which led it to continue it structure. For whatever the reason maybe there was not even a broken piece of stone.before entering it we needed something to eat and when enquired, was told to walk for another kilometer towards BijliGhar(power house) and there we found some tiffins on wheels. The only thing i wanted to suggest everyone is to always have water with you,you might not find it elsewhere good .at that tiffin center all i found to eat was some puri and something made with chickpeas(chana). And there was this curry which i didn't liked to eat.
My only wish that time was to roam the whole fort and start for that Mehtab Bagh.By that time i was totally exhausted and would pay anything for some extra hours to sleep, but time is limited so i skipped my sleep and stated walking into the fort.

myself before red fort |
only after stepping into the fort we were asked to deposit our bags at a specified room.then we started going. It was such a great architect,i couldn't stop myself having clicks on my camera. Now we were to climb up the fort.such an amazing from the outside but was so tough for our exhausted bodies.Still we managed to be half the way till here.
And now we were told that there is a good view of tajmahal from the fort.So we went upto the corner but still due to the cloudy nature couldn't see Tajmahal well. Then we just kept our eyes on the beatiful art over there. It was really praisable. There were many places to see in the fort
- Sheesh Mahal
- The Diwan-i-Am
- Diwan-i-Khas
- Mina Masjid
- Nagina Masjid
- Musamman Burj
- The Anguri Bagh
The view of agra was quite pleasant from the fort, like it was a city on clouds.I still wanted to be for sometime more but the thought of seeing tajmahal made me move.

A VIEW IN RED FORT |
As soon as we came out we were surrounded by rickshawalas.Everyone trying to take us with them.Atlast we enquired them of the Mehtab bagh, whether we could have a view of tajmahal from there. All of them asked one thing that it is almost 14 k.ms from here, so how could you expect to see tajmahal? There plan was to take us with them to the Meena Bazar, which we finally went as he offered for only 10 rs and was saying it was quite a place to see.It was nothing as i expected, possessing only 1 storied building and with two rooms. The things present there were
- scale model of Tajmahal, made of marble.
- many decorates made of marble
- specially made bamboo saree.
- saree made of banana skin.
we spent not more than 20 mins here and started our journey to Mehtab bagh.As we were new to the place we asked everyone we found about reaching mehtab bagh. With the information gathered,we started back.i.e, our route to mehtab bagh was like
meena bazar--
>bijli gar-->Ram babu-->cross the bridge-->walk for 1 k.m-->mehtab bagh.
so while walking for the mehtab bagh, could see some top tajmahal and then the beauty after walking 1 k.m.same as we saw in a telugu movie "
balu".roaming there for about 2 h.rs ,met some foreigners.and finally returned back to agra cantt.
The main things i observed in the state was
- The cost of living was low
- There was no water offered in the small hotels
- Either you should have great spirit or good amount of money to travel whole agra (for your information,an auto driver charged 600 r.s for a whole day trip of agra)
- thus it finally ended with happiness and sleepiness
